This file also isn't for anything in particular so I still don't really feel like writing a super long detailed readme OK <_<

This is the ending theme to "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" (or "涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱", for you super pedantic types), one of the best animes ever. I felt like making an anime file for once and this seemed like an obvious choice. Um, that's pretty much it really...

I took Nipponsei's release of the ED single and edited the long version of the song down until it matched the TV size version (for better sound quality) in CoolEdit. It's short, but that's how the song is, and I think the steps are fun enough to make up for it.

Beginner and light aren't that great since a lot of the vocals and emphasised sounds are on offbeats but I only wanted to use red 4th arrows for them. So they don't follow the music that well, sorry.

Standard is pretty awesome I think. Possibly better than heavy, I'm not sure. It really just depends on what you're after.

Heavy is basically standard with longer streams, more jumps and some crossovers. Both of them follow the vocals pretty closely, but not *too* closely. DDR style, just the way I like it.

Challenge is kind of ridiculous but I felt like making it anyway. Most of the 16ths do go to elements of the background music, for your information.

Graphics made in Paint Shop Pro 8. I took frames from the high quality video I had and added stuff to them, basically. I like the transition effect at the start and end, I think it works pretty well. Banner's a bit sparse but I wanted something that fit in with the background. CD title was a pain in the ass to make, frankly, due to writing text really small and the SOS-dan logo being taller than it is wide. Thanks to Opius (I think) for the initial huge vector trace version that I got the logo from.

Video was encoded in VirtualDub using Xvid. I liked how high quality it ended up while still being within Bemanistyle's size limit, since the song is so short. Thanks to Samurai Sanders for providing me with a ridiculously high quality raw of the ending.

Lyrics file was based on afk's karaoke subs during the ending and timings were worked out in Stepmania's editor.

Yep, that's basically it. Later!
